These are very basic cleaners. They are easy to clean in the dishwasher and do not chafe. We usually buy them at our local farmers market where a very nice old lady knits them (I'm a knitter and I still don't know how) and sells them. $1 each) they are significantly more expensive and not as comfortable. However, in the off-season they work the market and are delivered straight to my mailbox in the midst of the Covid pandemic. I think they may be stiffer nylon than we're used to - that could be 'double' in the description. They don't scratch, but bend less.
