I generally like the covers. Fairly durable material that prevents wear and tear. I wouldn't say the material is waterproof. It rained several times and the material "holds" the water, so to speak. If you sit down, your clothes will still get wet. However, it doesn't appear to invade your actual seats. On my 15 jeep jk, I wasn't too impressed with the headrest cover installation. The velcro is very small and when the headrest is up the velcro area looks like a soup sandwich. Otherwise better than anything I could get in a specialty store.
