Free! They don't stay closed. I've tried tightening the nut but it won't work. They are good at cutting multiple layers of material. They don't cut other things like paracord very well. I wanted a little pair of scissors to carry around in my art bag. This does not meet the requirements. They don't stay closed, which is dangerous when I'm looking for them in my pocket. I put them in a place where I can find them while they're in sight. The best scissors I've ever bought for all kinds of crafts are the Clauss 18516 7-Inch Titanium Bonded Ultraflex Bent Shear.
