Forget about soldering or working with compression fittings.

These SharkBite products have made life easier for us homeowners. This is a solderless tube connection system that is similar to the process of a compression system, but that's where the similarities end. For example, if you have 2 tubes that you want to connect end-to-end, get a SharkBite connector with 2 female ends and just plug in the appropriate tubes. The handle is amazing and waterproof when done right. These connections can even be removed and reused for another product. I used an ice maker kit to replace an old copper pipe (this kit comes with a non-copper pipe) and it worked great. I replaced 2 valves on a 1/2" pipe with SharkBite. Highly recommended!
