I'm not a spring child and managed to assemble the chair myself. Yes, attaching the backrest to the seat was a bit tricky - you have to squeeze it together - but if I can do it, anyone can. In the new Covid normal I needed a comfortable chair for WFH. Do I want a thousand dollars + an ergonomic task chair? Yes, but not in my budget. The best thing about this chair is that it has a 20 inch wide seat. Perfect for my grand old grandma in the back. It doesn't interfere with my circulation, nor does it bother my arthritic hip. And I like red. Review after 7 months. Now this chair is killing me. The padded seat has flattened out and now I'm sitting on a piece of plywood that's cutting into my legs. Will have to buy another chair. Very disappointed. If I had to do it all over again I would buy a higher quality chair. I had high hopes.
