It really helped clear my skin, used it every night after her vitamin C serum and then eye cream but then I got curious and decided to read up on their ingredients. I was surprised. Most of their products contain phenoxyethanol, a chemical that keeps bacteria-free (mold-free) natural products instead of parabens. However, it is also known to be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin, causing reproductive harm. And it's been tested on animals and found to be toxic to the brain and nervous system. When used "in moderation," or less than 0.5% or 1%, it shouldn't be as toxic as some websites say. But Europe and Japan classify it as an irritant even in small doses and have even banned it for use in their cosmetics. In short, I would prefer a product that does not contain any animal ingredients. and where my health is at risk. ***This review was originally for their retinol cream, but Revain didn't let me review the product because the company was blocking reviews due to "many reviews" who had never heard of it. but so does her eye cream, which is why I posted it here
