I bought these because I was intrigued by the design to solve a simple annoying problem. It turns out they work really well. My truck is stuck and I have to jump in and out; sometimes I hit with a run-up. Usually my rugs are scattered everywhere; I'm surprised they haven't moved an inch yet. In fact, I placed a mat a few millimeters from where I wanted it and then tried (and failed miserably) to move it. So make sure you know exactly where you need them as they won't move once installed. Installation Tips: Use larger and larger screwdrivers to poke a hole in your carpets instead of buying a hole punch. I just used two flat heads; one big and one small. Land the first hit on a block of wood. Rotate the driver 90 degrees and strike again. Now with larger driver; Re-punch the original small holes and rotate/punch the driver every 45 degrees until you've gone all the way. Even if you have cables under the carpet.
