Instructions neglect to mention the memory function (which retains color warmth & dim level when turning lights off and on) also retains timer setting. I tried the 30 min timer (which works fine). The following day after turning the lights on they turned off after 30 min without having set the timer again. Confused at first until I remembered using the 30 min timer the night before. After fussing with the remote for a bit I was able to get the timer turned off. Not sure how (because there are no instructions) but I think you need to turn the lights on, off, then on again to remove the timer from the memory function. (Presumably when the lights are turned off whether by timer or remote button the memory function retains either timer or no timer respectively ? maybe). After setting the timer, the lights will flash once to confirm the timer. When turning the lights on again later the memory function automatically sets the previously used timer but there is no flash of the lights to indicate a timer has been set. There is no "timer off" button on the remote. The instructions do not mention the method of turning off the timer. And it seems the memory function could keep the timer setting on indefinitely. Not a deal breaker, but I think this functionality was overlooked and should be explained clearly in the instructions.
