Here are other features that I use, but that did not fit into the dignity: - git server - the ability to mount remote FTP, NFS servers and provide access to them to users - a simple replacement for spreadsheets and a text editor - an index is built on the files and it is possible to find duplicates and bang them - and of course there are all sorts of tools for analyzing where the place goes - it is possible to deliver a bunch of software from the official repository (different web servers and databases), and you can also use community repositories - there is still an opportunity to connect video surveillance (I want everything, but I’m not going to buy a camera, and it’s not clear how much this will affect performance in other tasks) - probably something else that I poked, but I have not come in handy yet . Do not look at the characteristics of this device the way you do when buying a PC. They are really modest, but there is a tuned Linux inside, and this thing does an excellent job with all the regular functions, the power for home hamster tasks is beyond the eyes. You pay money not for a piece of hardware, but for a solution, for its functionality and ease of setup and use, and it seems to be the best on the market for devices of this class. I've been using it for a year and a half now. Together with two disks (I specially took 2 pieces of 4TB for NAS) it cost 52 thousand. At that moment, of course, I shed a tear, but now, after so much time, I don’t regret a bit and continue to use it for more and more new tasks. Now I have no idea how I lived without it before. Now I want DS920+, which costs space money today with disks T_T Best of all, the potential of the device will be appreciated by IT people, of course, but if you are a paranoid who does not trust cloud services, but is quite capable of reconciling with a vendor's solution, this is what you need.
