Comb looks good and seems well made but I'm only giving it 3 stars because the comb teeth are too dull/bumpy to effectively create a defined part (I have a cheap goody Plastic comb with wide teeth ). it works just as well AND can make a well defined part) the handle is a bit short its overall size is comparable to a travel hair comb. I didn't notice any wood smell and didn't see any major benefits from using this type of comb. After a month and a half of constant use, I could not see any effect on the amount of hair shedding / falling out. I have found that the comb is only good for loosening up my roots (on dry hair) for a bit of volume. As expected, the large distance between the teeth did very little to ruin the structure of my curls (so that's a plus), but I can get the same positive effect with a standard hairstyle. In summary, it's not a bad comb, but I didn't find any added value/advantage over other brands made of other materials like plastic or bamboo. Color processing, medium porosity
