Comb looks good and seems well made but I'm only giving it 3 stars because the comb teeth are too dull/bumpy to effectively create a defined part (I have a cheap goody Plastic comb with wide teeth ). it works just as well AND can make a well defined part) the handle is a bit short its overall size is comparable to a travel hair comb. I didn't notice any wood smell and didn't see any major benefits from using this type of comb. After a month and a half of constant use, I could not see any effect

Received my comb today and so far so good. The hairbrush came in nice packaging (in its own box and small shoulder bag) and overall looks very attractive. The scent of sandalwood is pleasant and unobtrusive. It feels pleasantly heavy and the handle is very comfortable in the hand. Wide teeth massage the scalp, which is very pleasant.
