I like their light although I prefer 6500K over 5000K and all these CFLs burn out early or have a high failure rate. I will say if you go through a few bad ones and carefully put all the good ones in their place, they will last a very, very long time. For some people 6500k is so bright it gives them a headache and it's going to be a great compromise and way better than 2700k bulbs which emit red light and I just hate it. It's not very economical to make these bulbs on return so I'm deducting a star because the branded bulbs are better in that regard when the store exchanges them locally with proof of purchase. Good luck, try 40 watt equivalent 200 watt bulbs, they are amazing in winter. I use a few in the living room and dining room during the gloomy months and they seem to pick everyone up and might even help build up a bit more vitamin D.
