Superb multifunctional collar. The beep is loud enough to be heard but not annoying to others. The vibration is quiet and has many intensity levels. The shock is like an electric fence. Of course, we tried it on ourselves first with the lowest heart rate. We didn't even have to use vibration or shock on our lab/pit mix. 3 rings is all she needs. Our minpin/doxy had to use an electric shock...I think small dogs are stubborn. A Jack Russell in a box with a lab/pit is not required. It has a wrist strap and charges fairly quickly, holding a charge for several days. We bought it when we go camping because they bark at all the new people and kids that are walking around all the time. I would definitely buy this collar again.
