These pillows are very, very well filled. Maybe too good. Maybe I was expecting something softer? When I saw "Cotton Down Alternative" I thought of a nice, fluffy combination of feathers and down. Maybe that's what's inside them - stuffed to the brim. They were really very generous. I can't help but think they're tough! They give very little when my elbow presses on them for more room! If I want to take a nap on the couch I have to move the pillow AWAY from my head or my head will be at a 90 degree angle to my shoulders and my neck will snap! A lot of people seem to like these pillows, so maybe I just have glass bones and paper skin and need to find a pillow that works for my condition. Out of curiosity, I put the pillow on the wooden floor and hit it several times with all my strength without getting close to the floor through the tightly stuffed poufs.
