I was a bit skeptical because of the very low price but decided to take a chance. The retention mechanism consists of 4 lever pins that when slipped over the exhaust pipe create a firm hold down the center and these sharp dual fork ends hold them in place. All you need to know is that you put them on and they stick. The hardest part was aligning them just enough to hide the existing pipe behind the rounded edge. I've done my best and you can barely see a tiny bit of a page on a tube. I've attached before and after pictures so you can see the difference. huge improvement! I've been wearing them for 3 days now and will be posting wear and durability info in a few months. But at $20 if they last as long as the wiper blades, I'll be happy.
