Review on πŸ”Š Handheld Sound Level Meter with LCD Display - Mini Digital Decibel Tester and Alarm (30-130dBA) by Andrew Davenport

If you are looking for a good alarm clock then this product is the best

At first I couldn't get the alarm clock to work at all. It was very easy for me to set 2 alarms. I set the low alarm level to 90.0 decibels and the high alarm level to the minimum allowable level of 100.0 decibels. Then came the big disappointment. No alarm worked at all. I was wondering if I should exchange it. However, I played around with it. I turned it off, then back on. 2 alarm clocks didn't work. Then I pressed the "Install" button for 3 seconds instead of half a second. Suddenly my 2 alarms were working perfectly. When the noise level exceeded 90.0 decibels, purple backlit LCDs (they are similar to LEDs but are classified as LCDs) flashed from lavender to red to purple to red to purple to red for about 7 seconds. When the noise level exceeded 100.0 decibels, I heard a beep, beep, beep, beep, in addition to flashing purple-red LCDs for about 7 seconds. The alarm freezes the high value for about 7 seconds. The alarm clock will turn itself off after 7 seconds. I doubt that there is another sound level meter that is as pleasant to use as this model. The only problems are: (1) A digital thermometer that can read both Celsius and Fahrenheit is likely to be inaccurate (too high) and must not be recalibrated or turned off (dimmed). (2) 3 AAA alkaline batteries provided free of charge will be fully discharged in about 12 hours if the product is always on. It is not possible to operate this product using a wall outlet as the power source.
