--UPDATE 11/24/14 -- I have worn this jacket several times at highway speeds (60+mph) in 30F weather several times. With the lining and thermal shirt, my body stayed damn warm. At 60+ the wind starts to pierce the jacket and after half an hour or two at this speed it gets a bit chilly. However, for a jacket not designed for cold weather riding, I was very pleased. A neck warmer/balaclava that tucks under the collar is a must for winter riding. I am still very happy with this jacket. ________ This jacket is amazing quality for the price. I'm 6'0, 210 lbs, athletic build. I have a longer torso and a slightly shorter wingspan than most people my size. I also ordered the XL and it fits like a glove. The jacket is very warm even without a lining and perfectly protects against the wind. The wrist cuffs are easy to use and fit well over my summer gloves. Once tightened, the cuffs are small enough to easily slide gloves over them while inside the mitt. Ventilation seems adequate, although I haven't hit freeway speeds yet - ventilation seems to work well at speeds up to 30mph. I love the spring loaded waist; You put on the jacket loosely, pull it down and tighten it. I am happy to know that it stays on my waist even when not attached to my jodhpurs. I only have two very small problems. The elbow pads are slightly lower than the arms, but that can be explained by the fact that my wingspan is below average for my height. The material in the sleeves doesn't seem to be breathable either. I have a heavy sweater and after about thirty minutes of riding the sleeve lining gets quite damp. When I take my jacket off for a break, I get quite a wet/sticky feeling when I put it back on. As I said, these are very minor problems. I really like this jacket and don't understand how you can find a better quality jacket at this price. Highly recommended.
