Viking Cycle jackets are a quality jacket that I trust!

Little used. But it's convenient. I love all bags. So far the ventilation sucks. Definitely a good jacket for cold weather riding. I would take another one for the summer. But I can say it's a very good quality, I know I'm protected in this jacket. It's just me but I don't like how the insole comes out on the sleeves for warmth l. The arrangement of the buttons makes it difficult to open. It's too tiring for me. But idk, you might not find this a problem. Now sometimes I wear large ones and…

Does what it takes

4/5 for warmth. Tested at 30mph at 14°F with a balaclava and long sleeve shirt underneath, the cold wind ate me alive; I had to turn around and put on a jacket under a down jacket, then everything was fine. I think wearing it alone at 35°F would be enough, but that's just a guess. 4/5 for protection. I believe it will protect me well in medium speed crashes. Without hard plastic armor, I don't think this will be enough for speeds over 40mph. 5/5 for build quality. It seems very strong and…

Very nice jacket! - Jackets

Chic jacket! Worth more than advertised! Material and quality are top! I have other high end jackets and this one is very well made! The armor on the shoulders, elbows and back seems to protect you very well. I feel safe in this jacket. Another advantage is that the jacket reflects the light well, so you will stand out in traffic! The zippers feel well made, the velcro doesn't look cheap, the materials feel solid. The amount of POCKETS on this jacket is amazing. ! Bags of all sizes, from…

Better than expected

I actually took a chance and got this jacket for longsword training. None of the standard fencing jackets fit my budget or were attractive. I can wear it with or without a removable liner and a t-shirt, but with a thick cotton sweatshirt instead. Many nice features include removable panels and lockable vents. It's stiff and heavy, but fits well and allows full freedom of movement. Size L fits 42 chest and 36 waist. The triple closure at the front (zip, velcro, buttons) is quite reliable. It has

Cool jacket! for jackets and vests

--UPDATE 11/24/14 -- I have worn this jacket several times at highway speeds (60+mph) in 30F weather several times. With the lining and thermal shirt, my body stayed damn warm. At 60+ the wind starts to pierce the jacket and after half an hour or two at this speed it gets a bit chilly. However, for a jacket not designed for cold weather riding, I was very pleased. A neck warmer/balaclava that tucks under the collar is a must for winter riding. I am still very happy with this jacket. ________…

Some pluses, some minuses

First impression: the coat is very nice and corresponds to the description. It has a nice quilted removable cold weather liner and plenty of pockets. The "cable channel" for wired headphones is brilliant, but I can't speak to its effectiveness right now. Something I really like about a branded coat that I have and would love to have is the zippers that close in the opposite direction - that is, zip down to zip up and zip up, to open the zipper. It may seem like a small thing, but when the zips…
