Review on Marada 27" X 25"X 2.5" Washer Machine Drain Pan Heavy Duty 304 Stainless Steel Washing Machine Drip Pan (No Hole) by Talapon Blackburn

As a design engineer, I'm always looking for better products. This tray is the bomb! It's listed at 1.5mm thick. I measured 0.0575 inches (1.46mm), so close enough! It's very thick. I ordered two 28"x28" trays @ $129 each - that were also stainless steel, but they were super thin. Even with the folded over edge, they were easily bent by hand. Not this one. It took me 6 Dremel cut off wheels to cut the 3 1/4" circle for the drain. This tray is no joke. It also came very nicely packaged to prevent damage. It measured a true 30x32 inches. I really wanted a thicker material in case you stepped on the edge of it when working in the laundry room. My Speed Queen TR7003WN washing machine has 4" of clearance on the side and about 5 1/2" of clearance on the back. Note: Killarney Metals makes nice trays, but they are ridiculously expensive for just folded up sheet metal. Not much engineering in a washing machine tray. Note: buy soon, the price seems to keep climbing on this try.
