After buying and returning several other alarm clocks to replace my ex I had for so many years, I decided to try this one after seeing the video (thanks Poster!). I now realize that the other watches I returned tried to do too much with a simple device. This one is easier, but overall it's a winner for me. What I like about this alarm clock: - Nice blue color of the numbers - very soothing! - Large digit size - easy to read from all sides. Room! - Red light on the ceiling. To be honest I didn't think I wanted it but now that I have it I'm hooked! I don't have to turn my whole body to see the time when I'm in bed, I just look up! In addition, the ceiling light can be moved along the axis as desired and, if desired, turned upside down or switched off completely. I really like this feature so I can open my eyes in the middle of the night and just look up. It's red but not too bright and big to disturb my sleep. And it reads very well in the dark, not blurry, and I can even read from a bed without glasses with a 10ft ceiling and my eyesight is terrible! I bet the ceiling numbers are probably based on your ceiling height. The white box and the size fits snugly and snugly on my bedside table without taking up too much space. A requirement for me! -- it also has a number of features that I don't use, such as different radio/buzzer tones, two alarms, etc. See list. It was exactly as described in the listing. What I don't like: - It's a bit confusing when you don't have directions. I hope to be able to find directions on the internet in the future once I lose my copy that came with the watch. The buttons do a lot but you have to know exactly how long to press, how many times to press etc. It was more difficult than my much older alarm clock which had more buttons. In the end I decided to just wake myself up in the morning with an alarm clock on my phone as it's easier than any alarm clock I've ever used in my life. The red light on the ceiling is not visible in the dark. Only visible in the dark during the day or when the lights are on. Actually, it's probably a good thing when you think about it. If the clock loses power due to a power outage or blackout, the red portion of the clock on the ceiling will turn off (to save battery power?). It has to be turned on manually every time. That's all. There isn't much not to love about this watch. That's easy! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great value clock with big numbers. But don't forget to save the directions!
