Pretty comfy, great for laptop security, pocket location needs some work

It's comfy enough for me. I bought a similar backpack from a store and it was great for traveling to the airport with a laptop, but the zipper broke so I figured it was time to buy a new one. Of course, one of the chest strap attachments doesn't stay in place, which is a bit frustrating. I have to sew this thing up so I don't lose it. Without a chest strap, it is very heavy even with a few kilos. The laptop compartment is VERY secure; You must remove the backpack completely and flip the backpack straps to access it. This is very nice, but a bit cumbersome for those of us who don't already have a TSA pre-screen to get a laptop through airport security. My small Macbook Air slides in and out fairly easily, not sure how a full size laptop fits in. The inner main pocket is huge! Searching for stuff drove me crazy until I packed everything into packing cubes to keep everything organized. All pockets are on the outside which is a nightmare. All my little things become available to pickpockets and I only use them at airports and in New York. And I can never find the damn thing. I solve this problem again by stacking things in packing cubes and using a larger inner bag. Going through all the bags at once is really ridiculous! I wish they were prettier but I had to choose this brand as I have sloping shoulders and it's very difficult to feel comfortable in backpacks.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
