Review on 🎨 Unleash Your Creativity with Color Me Your Way 4 (4)! by Denise Davis

My sister bought me this coloring book from Whole Foods for Christmas and as soon as I opened it I knew I would love to color in it. I used to draw in Joanna Basford's coloring books and still love her art, but Pamela Smart seems to have a sensitivity to ordinary dyes, not the people classified as "artists". I paint because it's cathartic and incredibly relaxing, and I find Smart's paintings to be creative, interesting, and dynamic in terms of imagery and shapes within the paintings. I also love to draw animals and her drawings are really beautiful. I'm not a big fan of coloring pictures of people, but what works in Smart's coloring books is that she pairs the people with the animals in the picture, so coloring is fun. I can highly recommend her books. I have Color Me 4 and am working on it, but I would like to get all of her other books as well. I read somewhere that she is a self-taught artist, but she clearly has a gift and coloring her pictures makes me feel like a part of her world for a moment.
