Editing to respond to those complaining about the topics covered! DO NOT TIGHTEN STRONG. It's stainless steel, so yes, it's softer than regular steel. This item comes with anti-rust treatment, so it's a compromise you choose. Lighten only until the spring washers are fully compressed. <End edit> Easy to install and very strong for a truck bed (trailer hitch). This item comes with standard stainless steel nuts. While the slotted washers are to keep the nuts from loosening, I'm paranoid so I replaced them with stainless steel nuts with nylon inserts. It may not be necessary, but that would be my only recommendation to the manufacturer. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.
