Functional but with many bugs/problems.

I was looking for a router with Qualcomm Streamboost. Tried this. Bought, returned to Revane and exchanged for a new one. Both routers had problems with DHCP (devices on my network are not automatically assigned IP addresses). The admin page to service the router died multiple times and required a reboot. After manually assigning the IP addresses and configuring the Streamboost settings, everything is fine. The firmware is not updated (on the old or new router). Trendnet support was not very helpful when I contacted them about this. They first explained to me how to extract the bin (firmware file) from a zip file (after my support request explained the details of the filename, which I did). In a later reply I was told that there is no newer firmware. On the router product page you can see that there is a newer firmware version of 8-2015. The router freezes for 7-10 minutes and never updates the firmware. I'll leave it at that for now, but don't recommend it.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Almost everything is there
