My kids and I do every type of camping from backpacking, to car camping, Glamping and camping in fridged temperatures. I'm also on a budget, and the Marchway cot fit my standards as an inexpensive version of a backpacking cot. Although the weight is greater, the comfort and durability are beyond the price. I have used and abused my cot, and the only thing negative (not so negative) is that when on sand, the legs will dig deeper and you MIGHT touch the sand, but it is still comfortable! The picture provided is from an Island Camping trip (sand island) and although i was touching the sand a little, I slept better on this cot than any of my other large cots. It is flexible, and will sag and cradle the body. I have bought 4 of them, and have suggested it to many people.*It says I should mention easy to assemble. Although it takes 2 minutes longer than a conventional fold up cot, what it lacks in "2 min time savings", it makes up for space and weight savings!
