Bought these for a school work area in a darker basement room. I didn't want to mess around with the wiring so I figured this would be a great alternative. They're incredibly easy to install, so that was a good thing. They gave more light but weren't incredibly bright, which I expected from a battery powered flashlight. What disappointed me was the very short battery life! Maybe one of them was left on overnight, but the battery died on the second day. I wasn't planning on using it for long, but even if it stayed on it would last less than 16 hours. So if we use 2 hours a day, it will last 8 days before we have to change the batteries. I'll probably get rechargeable batteries for this, but we just haven't used them that much since we realized it.
