Update 21st Dec 2020 - I am currently using the 4th blade and have found that these blades just don't become blunt . I have 62 shaves with the #2 blade and 57 with the #3 blade. #4 is on the move. If you're an aspiring member of the Excalibur club, this might just be the best blade you'll find. Part of that amount of shaving is that I have to be willing to do 2 or 3 passes and clean up the multi-crimped nape areas a bit, and also be willing to twitch a bit after about 15 shaves. I prefer stainless blades to platinum ones. Stainless steel is slightly sharper on average, while platinum is longer on average. I was surprised at how sharp these blades are and the fifth shave is just as good as the first. No nicks or cuts so far. It's sharp like the Astra SS but more durable like the Astra SP. I have used Durablade Sharps needles in the past and have found them to provide very consistent performance for 3-4 shaves. Titan adds a few more shaves to its lifespan. This blade might not be the best choice for those who want exceptional feather sharpness, but they work great with my razor (Muehle R89) and my beard.
