The connector was not properly attached to the cable and was pulled out. I'm aware of the inherent vulnerability of these plugs and handle them very carefully, but this is poor workmanship at its best. Update: I find this to be such a useless POS that I had to go back to update my review. Since I needed a power cord while waiting for the OE cord I ordered to replace this junk, I decided to put a new plug on it. Power is restored, but now he has a new problem.
