I think the fit of each belt is a bit subjective. Based on the size chart, my wife just fell into the plus size category. But after reading some reviews where people complained that the strap was too long, I decided to order a medium one instead. Well it works. hardly. Without a tail. We're both going to lose weight in the new year so that's not a problem. But I would advise any potential buyer to check the size chart! Belts are of good quality and should last a long time. Very happy with my purchase!
