I bought this and very popular product from SouldAsleep. They are both good heavy mattresses. They haven't been used long enough to be durable. Size: SoundAsleep runs smaller. Smaller than a standard queen and shorter than a king coil. I prefer the larger size. Materials: Both are heavy, which is good. SoundAsleep only streams from above. King Coil drains everywhere except below. The extra flocking on the king coil holds the sheets well. Unfortunately, it's also black, so it collects dust and lint and stuff. It would be *much* better if it was a lighter color. Pump: The same. They seem just as fast and just as loud. King Coil has a better cable retention solution (snap top bay). The King Coil has a longer cord, which is nice. Other Features: King Coil has an alternate fill port. For me this is a killer feature. What will you do when your guests arrive and the pump fails? With Sound Asleep, you're stuck knowing it's going to happen at just the right moment. The King Coil lets you take out the vacuum (or other pump) and fill the mattress - it might not be ideal, but nobody should be sleeping on the floor tonight. So, in my opinion, King Coil is the clear winner. .There is one area where the Sound Asleep product clearly outshines the King Coil. storage bag. The King Coil comes with a bag that barely fits on top of the mattress when it leaves the factory. GFL is returned to the bag after use. a product manager at King Coil decided to save a dollar and listed a terribly cheap (poor material) and small bag. SoundAsleep, on the other hand, comes with a much larger case made of decent fabric - obviously someone had the user experience in mind when they pointed out that part. The storage bag is the reason King Coil only gets four stars and the reason SoundAsleep went from three to four stars.
