Bought for 7 and 8 year old daughters. The material is thin and very soft like silk. They didn't feel hot even after wearing them for several hours. The filter holder pocket is free, so if you shake it without putting it on, the filter will fall out. Suitable for standard 2.5 micron filters. The ear slits helped keep the mask in place, but the girls didn't use them all the time. The mask stayed comfortably in place.
