We bought this as a birthday present for my son. It's lightweight, easy to assemble and move, and just plain fun. The space theme was a bonus. With people of all ages in the house, it's nice that there are two levels of difficulty to throw the rattle depending on which side you use. My 7 year old, 4 year old kids and adults had fun with it. Without stakes I'm not sure it's safe to use outdoors as we live in a windy area, but if you stand or weigh it yourself you should be fine. Great for simple picnic play or just to help kids develop hand-eye coordination.
