Our glass door is bright during daytime and causes a glare on the TV. I bought this for the color, it's economic, the size, and of course the light blocking feature. It's decent for the price range. The main hardware that attaches to the wall seems durable but the tabs on the end that holds the roller in place are plastic and is only pushed in. If you're not careful during installation, you can easily pull it off on accident causing the roller to come off. The fabric material is fine but I accidentally dropped it with the fabric unrolled and it caused a crease when it landed on the floor. It's small but enough to bother me. The one thing I really don't like is the plastic chain pulley as it looks cheap. Overall, it works for our need.
