It looks like a lemon yellow in the photos, but it's actually the color of a persimmon. It is definitely 100% cotton, looks like a satin fabric but weighs like percale. Love it and the color was a godsend because I now have a duvet that matches the color of the gold velvet curtains I just bought. I was hoping it would be a true citrus color but the persimmon color is almost orange with a tan base. In the light it can be mistaken for an orange-yellow "dandelion" yellow. Quality and cut are great. I just hope it holds up in the wash. Update: I have washed and dried this case at least 7 times since purchasing it and it still looks brand new. It does not fade with washing. That is amazing. The buttons are still on and haven't come loose yet. It gets softer with every wash and I still get compliments and envious looks from my mom. After all, my bedroom is nicer than my mother's. I would 100% buy again. Actually I will buy 1 more as a backup. It is too good quality for such a low price that I should take advantage of it.
