The mechanism itself is excellent. The angle during the coup is identical, the fixation is reliable. Someone wrote that the angle changes - nothing changes for me, everything is perfect. The fastening is convenient, the knife is fixed securely and firmly (if necessary, adhesive tape, nylon cord, etc. are used, but it is realistic to fix the knife in any case). However, long kitchen knives (chefs, for example, not to mention fillets) are inconvenient to sharpen - after all, the mount is narrow and the knife at the tip sags in any case. After 20 knives, the knot fixing screw broke. The thread just wore off, although I didn’t seem to be particularly zealous. The screw is not particularly needed, but still the overall quality leaves much to be desired. General impression: an excellent sharpener, but the fact that there is only one clamp - it fetters the arms and legs. You constantly run into some kind of limitation. It doesn’t work to clamp this knife normally because of the . Then it is too long and not enough fixation. Because of these shortcomings, I switched to a profile at the first opportunity - everything is perfect there, but the price is, of course, wild.
