Review on 🚗 STROMBERG CARLSON TR-1 Tire Carrier - Sturdy and Efficient by Amanda Ellis

After much searching on the internet and calling our local motorhome dealer we ordered this roof rack for our class C motorhome The item arrived quickly, but after it was unpacked (and thrown away) we started looking at the item closely. We were concerned about the tire holder's ability to carry the spare for our RV and considered modifying it to strengthen the supports. After speaking to the welder we had a plan but on the back of the installation sheet in the middle of the page it clearly states that this item should only be used for caravans and not for motorhomes or any other Class C motorhome that has been in the product description , and if so, then I missed that line. Now we stick with this item and the cost was low so that's not the problem, it's the inconvenience that there is now something made specifically for our use.
