Review on 🖥️ upHere Graphics Card GPU Brace Support Bracket - Anodized Aluminum, Single or Dual Slot Cards (Black), GL05 by Justin Kedzior

I originally received this along with my new build in July 2020 to support the EVGA 2080 Super XC. When I replaced it with the MSI 3090 Gaming X Trio last month, I knew right away that I had to support this monster card with either the upHere mount or the one MSI mount that came with the card. Well, MSI had its own problems - it took up a lot more space than upHere, if installed incorrectly it would touch the card case directly and scratch it or vibrate against it while the fan was running, and it really just felt badly made . UpHere wasn't much better, but eventually it worked as shown. Unlike the 2080 Super I had, the MSI 3090 has virtually no flat surfaces on the fan shroud, and where I would normally use a shorter rubber adapter (pictured), it also didn't support the 3090 on the edge of the card. . I tried a larger rubber adapter and it gave enough height, but just because of the 3090's weight and lack of flat surfaces, the adapter flexed and didn't properly support the card. So I put the short adapter back on and kept fumbling until I found a rather precarious flat spot on the edge of the fairing for a third fan. As you can see from the photos it holds the card flat and seems to stay in place with no issues. The installation almost requires a third hand of an assistant: one hand tightens the screws, the other supports and supports the bracket itself by tightening the indicated screws, and a third hand to hold the end of the graphics card to level it hold and don't accidentally press the mount and your hand holding the mount will try to tighten everything! Despite all that, I still give it 5 stars because aesthetically I just couldn't bring myself to add vertical support to the case, especially on this O11D-XL.
