As far as I could tell there are two different types of support mounts, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Using mine to support an EVGA GTX 1080 Ti FTW3 with an EVGA Powerlink adapter installed (not flaunting, just listing the specs for weight reference) and custom GPU power cables in a Corsair 570x case.
