Like Ryan Gosling hugging your legs with a steel hug

If I could replace all my running gear with compression stockings, I would. They are amazing. I'm 5ft 7in, 135lbs and ordered a medium size. They fit very well, the knee brace fits naturally around my knee, they are slightly shorter than my regular long leggings, about an inch above my ankles. I don't mind, just a comment on the fit to help you decide what size you need. My only complaint about the fit was a little chafing on my left thigh in the groin area, but I think pull it up/make sure it's correct sitting on the hip makes it easier. Even if not, the tights are good enough that I keep wearing them. I'm training for a marathon and ran 18.25 miles in them last Friday (coincidentally, it was only supposed to be on 10 miles to be. These tights made a huge difference that last mile.) Temperature was about 36 degrees and minimal wind; My legs were warm throughout the run. I usually struggle with a dull ache in my left knee after mile 6 or so, but I didn't feel it at all in these tights. My thighs felt a lot of support the entire time and I think they did have seriously alleviated the stiffness and pain I usually feel after a long run. I didn't notice any of the transparencies mentioned in the other reviews, but when I stretched them I could see how this could be an issue if you actually stretched the fabric. I wore shorts over mine because I walk around the base, but in a different environment I would wear them without shorts. Sitting is uncomfortable, but that's exactly what I expected from compression stockings. I highly recommend them for running or other outdoor activities; I wouldn't recommend them for fitness training, they are too tight for that. IMHO. I'm considering buying another pair.
