For rulers, only base layers and compression work best

I keep hoping CWX tights work for me, so I've tried several styles. Everyone has a problem: the waist does not stretch. This is no exception. A wide elastic band is sewn into the waist, which bends very little, and the hole in the waist is already very small. If I try to pull them off my hips I'm afraid the seams will tear. It's ridiculously hard to do. Why is there no belt? They are called women's tights, but the manufacturer never seemed to think that the hips could be wider than the waist…

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Little things

Poorly placed inseam - bring back the gusset!

I've been a dedicated CW-X runner for many years. Some of my first tights are still in use after almost 10 years and many kilometers. So I'm *super* disappointed with the design change that doesn't include a gusseted crotch or properly positioned seams. I don't know how you can wear these tights in a size snug enough to take advantage of the targeted compression and actually run without being incredibly uncomfortable. This is the second pair (different style) that I have had to return. for this

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

The benchmark for joint and muscle support on long runs

Run CW-C 4 years. I've tried other brands and none compare to the compression and joint support that the CW-X offers. This item has a heavy side for the weight of the fabric and the quality is exceptional. I've used it on several cool to cold weather 15 mile training runs. The support is fantastic. I really like the thigh support in this model. You won't be disappointed with any of the CW-X running tights, but this style has all the benefits of the other CW-X tights with added hip and hamstring

Great for hypermobility and connective tissue disorders

I am 5ft 10" and about 160 pounds. I ordered the big one first. While it was comfortable and compressed well in the thigh area, I didn't feel anything other than slight compression in other areas. I went to my local running store to try them on and found that while initially uncomfortable, the Medium was exactly what I needed. I received the medium in the mail from Revain and it was great! You have to shake and move a bit to put them on, but it's worth it. If you feel like they're too tight…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Short design, very low fit and narrow waist, little compression

I really wanted to like. I have joint hypermobility and pain when walking and this was my last resort. I usually wear size S and also ordered S according to the size chart. I'm not a tall person but this looks more like a cropped ankle than full length tights. In addition, the waist height is very low. Perfect height for muffins. It presses painfully on the bottom of your pelvic bones if you don't allow it to go any lower. It was difficult to reconcile this with my knees because although I…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Like Ryan Gosling hugging your legs with a steel hug

If I could replace all my running gear with compression stockings, I would. They are amazing. I'm 5ft 7in, 135lbs and ordered a medium size. They fit very well, the knee brace fits naturally around my knee, they are slightly shorter than my regular long leggings, about an inch above my ankles. I don't mind, just a comment on the fit to help you decide what size you need. My only complaint about the fit was a little chafing on my left thigh in the groin area, but I think pull it up/make sure…

Pros
  • Good Thing
Cons
  • Bad Instructions

Serious pressure - know what you're getting into.

UPDATE*** I've been running in them for a few months now and they are less tight. I may have lost weight, but I doubt it. After about 5 washes they started to feel quite comfortable. Now I wear them about 5 times a week with no problems. So if you do get them, wash them a few times (but don't put them in the dryer) and see if that makes them feel less like they're trying to hurt you. I've since also tried a version of stabliyx with less compression. and finally returned it. Size M was too loose

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Expensive but worth it (with one caveat)

I have just been diagnosed with Ehler Dahlo Syndrome after having suffered with pain my whole life for unknown reasons. I've been sick for so long and have been for 52 years! I've been using Kinesiology Tape for years and spending stupid money on it. I also wear compression stockings, sleeves, fingerless gloves and tops, and when it's cool I wear running and yoga leggings under my clothes or as leggings when it's warm. It suddenly occurred to me that there HAD to be proper compression pants…
