Short design, very low fit and narrow waist, little compression

I really wanted to like. I have joint hypermobility and pain when walking and this was my last resort. I usually wear size S and also ordered S according to the size chart. I'm not a tall person but this looks more like a cropped ankle than full length tights. In addition, the waist height is very low. Perfect height for muffins. It presses painfully on the bottom of your pelvic bones if you don't allow it to go any lower. It was difficult to reconcile this with my knees because although I don't have very long legs, for some reason the knee pads didn't fit and I didn't feel the pantyhose fall off my thighs. If I pull it all the way, the knee pads go up under the knees. Maybe the one who came up with this thought that small size means short legs? So to compensate for the knee pads, I had to raise the leg openings higher, like with cropped ankles, and lower the waistband, like with low rise hipsters. They should have called it "Extra Short" instead of "Small". Oddly enough, while it's very short, it's not super tight either. I almost don't feel the effect of the compression. I can feel a small bandage on the outside of my knee, which I take as a good sign that it's forcing my hypermobility joint into place, but that's about all I can feel. The taping effect is not felt at all. In conclusion, it's oddly short, but at the same time quite loose, very low on the hips, to the point of falling, and at the same time painfully tight on the waist, creating a voluptuous muffin top. This is a cool looking item. Clothing to be sure, but if I had known it was I wouldn't have spent $90 on it.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
