Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Weldpro 200 Amp Inverter Multi Process Welder: Dual Voltage Mig/Tig/Arc Stick 3 in 1 Welding Machine - 3 Year Warranty Included! by Jonathan Partridge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great car and even better customer service!/Support!

I'm an amateur and just learning to MIG weld (on a big blue expensive machine that does it all). I wanted a welder who would do everything like a big blue but didn't want to pay thousands of dollars. After reading many reviews I chose Weld Pro and I am very happy with it. It arrived earlier than expected. Excellent shipping packaging! Setup was easier than I expected (this is my first experience setting up a welding machine). (An instruction manual could do some serious work, but if you're an experienced welder you probably don't need instructions) I turned it on and made my first weld. What a mess! Nothing like Big Blue. A few more welds later and it was still a mess and I was pretty sure it wasn't me so I searched online, found a support number (it really should be in the manual) and called. This is where WeldPro shines - Customer Service/Technical Support! Joe is the best tech support guy. He knows the machine, he knows his welds and he has the patience of a saint! First off, let me say the problems were with my original setup, not the welder. I explained the problem, Joe made suggestions, I tried them and failed. This lasted 3 days and I was very disappointed and ready to return the car. But before I did that we were back at the start and I unplugged everything and rebuilt the machine including the new cable. I took my test piece to a welding class and used the big blue one to start a few lines. I got home, turned on the newly configured WeldPro and ran a few lines. Identical! So what was the problem? There were 2. Both of me. I hadn't fully inserted my welding gun into the port so I was getting very little shielding gas through the gun AND my welding table is cheap at a tool store that has a reputation for making inexpensive tools of this quality. I tried grounding the part on the table like I did in class BUT given the design of the table the clamp only touched the top not the bottom. Problem solved thanks to Joe, his confidence in the machine and my patience. I learned so much about welding that I would never have made it to class. Thank you WelPro! They have a great welder but I wouldn't have thought if it wasn't for Joe. I can't wait to meet Tig!
