Review on SUPAREE Inches Headlights Signal Wrangler by Greg Greiner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Try them before more expensive versions. I'm glad I did.

At the low end of the expensive big boy price spectrum, other than performance, I didn't see any real physical difference. I fitted them after an unsatisfactory experience with 3 row LED headlights and didn't want to go back to the H4. . Front indicators are one of them. I've never had anyone work there, but a few have. However, if you decide to use the turn signal ring with these headlights, you must use the original bulbs in the front sockets. Halos will not work with LED turn signals without modifying the turn signal circuitry. Right out of the box, you'll need to connect additional wires to the run signal and turn signal wires that are less than 2 inches long (be careful). I soldered mine and used double shrink tubing to avoid a headache later. This was done well in advance after work. The option for the running lights was wired to the fuse box behind the glove box, under the dash and behind the firewall on the driver's side where access is easiest. I made a Y connection using the round connectors on the left headlight and then routed the wire to the passenger side. The average person can charge an hour for this by taking their time and doing it right. I made it easy for myself and used the splice connectors for the turn signals. This involves removing the front turn signals to access the wiring harness, removing the tape and pulling the wire out of the plastic channel. And you have to work hard to get it back, so I just wrapped everything in isolation. Before you begin, check the wiring diagram to make sure you have a turn signal that is outside, opposite the three-wire ground connection. In the middle are parking lights. Ignore the videos showing JK installation as they don't work on TJ. Replacing the headlights was easy as long as you had a rag under the Jeep to catch any screws you might drop. Use a Torx screwdriver with a handle, not a practical way of wrapping. You'll have to fumble behind the headlights to hide all the wiring, but it's not that difficult. Be careful on the passenger side because of the moving parts there. The actual lighting is excellent in my opinion. The low beam is focused directly in front of you and the headlight does all the work. The high beam goes far out onto the road and inevitably takes the retinas of oncoming drivers with it. Halos look great but don't do too much for lighting. The flashing halos draw attention, which is a very good security feature. They have DOT approval markings, but as a Chinese I don't think that's really the case. As mentioned, I don't see any difference (photos and videos) between these models and the expensive DOT approved versions, so it's up to you to decide. better than the triple row LEDs they replaced. With the right tools and materials (and possibly a helper), you can complete this setup in a couple of hours.
