It was ok for the price. Not very loud, but easier than yelling out the window. If the pit was mounted on a frame behind the bumper it would be a normal location, but due to the recent flooding it is no longer operational. The back seems to have separated from the bell just enough for water to enter. Without taking it apart to see if it can be repaired, I'll probably just order a better quality, more expensive unit. I think you get what you pay for
