Didn't turn black.
I tried to dye a Victoria's Secret sweatshirt black. It was light pink which I hate. Every time I use this dye I try to dye things black since it's my favorite color but everything turns purple. I really tried to follow the instructions exactly to be sure and get a good result. .πSame purple result.
