Review on Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Smartphone 12/256 GB CN, Dual nano SIM, black ceramic by Stanislaw Wysocki ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Before that, I used OnePlus 7 Pro - a wonderful smartphone, there were no complaints about it. But, unfortunately, iron tends to quickly become obsolete. After 2 years, the processor (Snapdragon 855) began to noticeably yield to the new flagships, and the pictures more often began to upset when compared with the iPhone 13. Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra solved all these problems, but added others (troubles with GPay). Fortunately, this turned out to be solvable.

Pros
  • 1) The camera is amazing. The colors and detail are impressive. On the main module in the normal mode, a natural background blur is obtained. 2) The screen is bright, smooth. Curvature during use is almost not felt, the screen is almost flat. Auto-brightness works flawlessly, although this is more of an advantage of the sensors. 3) Autonomy - to defuse in a day you need to try. With moderate use (calls, messages, social networks, music / video), 50% remains by the end of the day. At the same time, with a 65w power supply, the phone charges up to 100% in 30 minutes. 4) Vibration, sound and build quality in general - nothing to complain about, a complete delight. 5) Shell - smooth, comfortable. However, there is a nuance when using European firmware on a Chinese device, more on that below.
Cons
  • 1) Google Pay and Netflix do not work. If a European firmware is installed on a Chinese device (as it turned out in my case), then the SafetyNet certification automatically “flies”, without which the Google Pay and Netflix applications refuse to work. It is treated through root and Magisk, but for the time being I preferred to switch to SberPay and an alternative apk for Netflix. 2) No power supply included. I had to buy. The Xiaomi block for 65w cost about 2k.
