This set is probably some of my daughters favorite toys! She loves to make noise and is so musical! But, I was a little disappointed that the drum wasn’t louder (what parent complains about that?!). And the recorder is splitting at the seam. But the recorder is definitely my daughters favorite. She got these at 13 months old and is so proud of herself for being able to blow into the recorder or harmonica.

Unfortunately these instruments had very underwhelming sound and were poor quality. The trumpet barely makes a sound and the buttons don’t change the note, the recorder and harmonica don’t change notes when played either, and the drum plastic broke within two days of my 2.5yr old playing with it and he is a very gentle boy compared to most. Not only did the drum’s plastic rip but it’s a bit thicker plastic so can seriously hurt your child. The tambourine and maracas might be the only things…

It's a good start for the kiddos to learn the names of each instrument however not high quality to learn how to play them. Drums and recorder are decent.

At the request of my mother, I reluctantly purchased this set of instruments as a Christmas gift for my toddler. I was dreading the noise, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be: The mouthpiece broke off the trumpet within a few days, and the other end got lost. The drum is hard to put together for little ones, so I control when I'm willing to hear it. The drumsticks are too light and flimsy to be used as weapons. The maracas and tambourine aren't any more annoying than baby rattles…

Trumpet was very hard for my 3 year old grandson to make any sound. Whole reason I purchased it was for the horns. Hard for me too!

I like the drum, drum sticks, recorder, and maracas. The trumpet will only blow one sound and it sounds like a kazoo. The three keys on top do nothing to influence the sound. The harmonica is very simplistic as well.

bought my son for christmas and it's broken up already , the trumpet and harmonica have the same little blow not even much of a sound , recorder is not like the one you buy in the store very cheap !

I got this for my niece, as she’s very into music. I love that this gift will keep on giving as she gets older and it doubles as storage!

These are cute and durable and my son loves to play with them but I don’t love hearing it all the time haha so just keep in mind these toys are pretty loud and annoying but your kids will love them.

Bought this for the trumpet. However unless you have good lungs it barely makes a sound. The rest of theitems are good for the price.

Bought this for my one year old grandson and he enjoys it as much as his 2 1/2 year old does. There’s several instruments so we can all have fun making music together. I highly recommend it and we received it in 2 days.

These are super cheap and there are way better options. Half of the instruments don’t actually work. They could have made them to work, but they didn’t. For the price you can get better. Way better.

I bought this set for my 2 yr old. The drum is fun but he’s constantly taking the top of the drum off since the drum also serves as a storage for the other instruments. The trumpet is soo horrible. It’s very hard to get any sound from it. The flute is horrible as well basically a one note flute. The harmonica is a squeak toy. The maracas are fine as well as the tambourine. Honestly didn’t care for it.

My 17.month old son LoVes this. Probably because it's a new way for him to make noise. That being said it isn't very sturdy for an active toddler

The trumpet is NOT a working instrument at all. It does not play. If you blow into it, it does NOT make any sound. It does nothing. The buttons can be pressed but they also do nothing. We bought this set specifically for the trumpet and drum. When we gave it to my tot, he saw the trumpet and was so excited! And immediately cried when we had to explain it did not work. My 18 month daughter had the biggest smile on her face! We had my parents over this past weekend and unveiled this set for the first time. I get excited when my little girl likes something, but OH MY her face lit up so bright! She banged on the drum with joy, and we all chimed in with an instrument. Superb little assortment for the price.

As long as you understand that these are not real instruments you will be very happy with your purchase. Our grand daughter loves having parades and everybody gets assigned an instrument. Build quality is better than expected. Sound quality is not very good but they make noise.

These toys are for PRETEND and not for learning even the most primordial basics of music theory. The drum is the only thing that actually fulfills its purpose (how hard is it to screw up a drum?), but the lid part of the drum does not stay on. The trumpet is unusable by children, adults can only get a pathetic squeak out of it by blowing unreasonably hard, and the keys do nothing. My granddaughter who just turned 2 yrs old loves this! Although the trumpet didn’t work from the start, the other pieces worked well enough for the family to form a musical "band”, lol!For the price it’s not bad for the plastic instruments. We all had fun with it!

Great interactive toy and easy to use. The drum is also used to store the other musical instruments which I thought was neat. We all were able to join in and have a fun family night making music. I’m giving this 5 stars all around. Wanted to mention that my 3 year old stabbed the top of the drum with one of the sticks. This would happen with any drum but I wanted to put that out there because I wasn’t expecting her to use so much force or slam the stick through the drum.
