I used the motor assembly and attached my original 5 inch fan blade. I gave up on the new 6 inch blade. Works great, nice and quiet.

The impeller was on the wrong end of the shaft. Had to take it off and slide it back on the other end to fit my application. There are no instructions. Works great and very quiet.

I was looking for a bathroom fan motor in big stores nearby to fix a broken one but to no avail and I bought this motor based on the description and it worked great.

For mounting nuts I had to go to Ace and they don't have those little metal nuts. They have these little nylon nuts that I've had to settle for. Nylon nuts with steel lock washers are not ideal.

This unit is very noisy compared to the original fan and was eventually removed, cleaned and oiled and the original motor reinstalled until something better was found. the distance between the studs, which requires the mounting bracket holes to be enlarged to accommodate them.

This guy did it. Shaft 1/4 inch too long. I drilled a 5/16" clearance hole between the mounting bolt holes on the mounting bracket to allow free rotation and lower the case somewhere between the scooch and scoach. I get dived! It's quieter than the government on Epstein. I celebrated with a round of applause and crossed it off my "I don't want that" list.

Had trouble finding a motor that came with fan blades and fairing that fit my old bathroom. It worked. Just had to buy nuts that worked with the bolts because the old ones had rusted and reuse the old metal case. Newer models had a metal body that was either too small or too big. I didn't want to cut a hole to fit the case! The noise level is no higher than my old one.
