Review on Colorfin PanPastel Ultra Soft Artist Pastel Set, 9ml, 🎨 Weathering, Rust/Earth, 7-Pack: Vibrant Pigments for Rustic and Earthy Artworks by Carla Anderson

These are intense colours. On some surfaces (non-glossy) they can behave almost like paint - you have to work to remove the excess. I am developing "Light Application" methods. So far I like these very much. Looks like they'll last a long time. The containers are 2 1/4 inches in diameter. They are 1/2" tall and 1/4" pastels deep. Each container is externally threaded at the top and internally threaded at the bottom. After removing them from the packaging you see in the photo, they should be screwed together into a stack of seven. There is a lid that covers the top container. This circuit is very difficult to use. You can't identify colors very well once they're screwed together, so finding what you want is a guessing game. The plastic has high friction and is difficult to unscrew at the point in the stack you want to access. A very, very, very light coat of petroleum jelly helps a lot (apply to the internal threads so you don't get off the powder). It's a good idea, but I'll take extra capsules.
