My daughter has several Aquabead sets and they are much better in bead size although the cardboard pattern could be better (doesn't hold up very well). If you lose beads, they are easier to pick up and sort than Aquabeads. Like most of these crafts, they take a while to dry after being sprayed with water, but overall we like the size of the dolls and crafts.
